Mineral Foundation: Monave Loose Foundation

             Let me share you my wonderful experience with this mineral makeup! So it started like this, I've been searching for a long time for a foundation which is oil-fighting, high quality, provides natural look, doesn't feel heavy and of course provides a full coverage for my skin imperfections, but most of the foundations I've tried failed to address these needs so I end up dissatisfied and still looking for my perfect match! :D Last February 22 I decided to go to Cosmetologie 2012 beauty, wellness & trends expo hoping that I would see the perfect foundation that I've been looking for, then it so happened that I saw the Beauty&Minerals booth displaying their mineral makeups and I eagerly tried them!  Sophia (the owner) told me that this mineral makeup is lightweight and has a great coverage so there's no need for me to use a concealer anymore just to cover my imperfections, holding on to her promises I bought a sample size in teporah shade. 

                 When I got home I immediately washed my face, moisturize it and put this mineral foundation on, as you can see below are my pictures before and after putting it. I was really surprised with the result that all I can say is WOW! Sophia was right, this foundation has a really great coverage it was able to cover my blemishes without looking unnatural. :D

               Earlier at school I used this foundation and I received compliments from my classmates saying that I look blooming today. haha now I know the secret of having a glowing skin so if you wanna be complimented everyday then better grab this product now! 

         Advantages of this product:

•        Mineral makeup doesn't contain chemicals that can harm your skin.
•        It doesn't feel like you are wearing any makeup at all.
•        It gives your skin a youthful glow
•        It perfectly covers imperfections
•        It has a natural SPF

       Disadvantages? I don't see any. :D

Verdict: I love it! I will surely buy this again but this time it's the big one and not the sample size. 

E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush

              So let's just start off with the fact that this brush is very comparable with other high end brushes! It comes with a shiny plastic case which makes it look really nice and expensive but it only costs Php250 ( 3$) and it can do the same thing that your high-end brushes do. As it says in its product description it can be used with wet or dry products and by using this e.l.f. studio brush you can be a professional makeup artist on your own!

         This brush works great with my mineral powder, it buffs perfectly so it creates a flawless look. It can also be used with bronzers and blush for perfect contouring.

      

    If we talk about quality this one is really impressive, it is dense and it is made of  synthetic fibers which makes it really soft and not scratchy unlike the other brushes which are made of natural animal hair. It also doesn't require expensive makeup cleaner to wash it, you can use mild or baby shampoo to clean it. One thing more its bristles did not shed or bleed at all after I washed it so it means that it is very durable!

                My only complaint about this product is that it is too big! It is not travel friendly so I cannot bring it all the time and use it for touch ups. :(

NYX Round Lipstick (Lip Smacking Fun Color)

       

        Everytime I read forums about girls latest beauty finds they rave about this NYX round lipstick which triggered my curiosity. I was wondering why these girls keep on talking about this lipstick like I was c'mon what's with it? Is it really that good that's why on every forum I read there's always these words as NYX RLS ? Well though I was really curious about this product and know about its existence for a very long time I did not shed bucks for it haha! But everything changed when I saw Digital Traincase's booth at Cosmetologie 2012, there are so many colors to choose from and it is also cheap so I was really attracted to give it a try.

          Honestly when I was trying this lipstick I feel like I want to buy them all! But since I'm not rich I just bought two haha it should be 4 but the other colors that I like was already out of stock.

          I love this lipstick 'cause it is creamy, has a rich color, has a decent staying power and of course it is extremely cheap it cost php150 only!  Now I feel guilty of not trying it after knowing it for a long time. Anyways I still feel glad that I discovered its Power now I can play colors with my lips without having to break the bank.
