Mineral Foundation: Monave Loose Foundation

             Let me share you my wonderful experience with this mineral makeup! So it started like this, I've been searching for a long time for a foundation which is oil-fighting, high quality, provides natural look, doesn't feel heavy and of course provides a full coverage for my skin imperfections, but most of the foundations I've tried failed to address these needs so I end up dissatisfied and still looking for my perfect match! :D Last February 22 I decided to go to Cosmetologie 2012 beauty, wellness & trends expo hoping that I would see the perfect foundation that I've been looking for, then it so happened that I saw the Beauty&Minerals booth displaying their mineral makeups and I eagerly tried them!  Sophia (the owner) told me that this mineral makeup is lightweight and has a great coverage so there's no need for me to use a concealer anymore just to cover my imperfections, holding on to her promises I bought a sample size in teporah shade. 

                 When I got home I immediately washed my face, moisturize it and put this mineral foundation on, as you can see below are my pictures before and after putting it. I was really surprised with the result that all I can say is WOW! Sophia was right, this foundation has a really great coverage it was able to cover my blemishes without looking unnatural. :D

               Earlier at school I used this foundation and I received compliments from my classmates saying that I look blooming today. haha now I know the secret of having a glowing skin so if you wanna be complimented everyday then better grab this product now! 

         Advantages of this product:

•        Mineral makeup doesn't contain chemicals that can harm your skin.
•        It doesn't feel like you are wearing any makeup at all.
•        It gives your skin a youthful glow
•        It perfectly covers imperfections
•        It has a natural SPF

       Disadvantages? I don't see any. :D

Verdict: I love it! I will surely buy this again but this time it's the big one and not the sample size. 

E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush

              So let's just start off with the fact that this brush is very comparable with other high end brushes! It comes with a shiny plastic case which makes it look really nice and expensive but it only costs Php250 ( 3$) and it can do the same thing that your high-end brushes do. As it says in its product description it can be used with wet or dry products and by using this e.l.f. studio brush you can be a professional makeup artist on your own!

         This brush works great with my mineral powder, it buffs perfectly so it creates a flawless look. It can also be used with bronzers and blush for perfect contouring.

      

    If we talk about quality this one is really impressive, it is dense and it is made of  synthetic fibers which makes it really soft and not scratchy unlike the other brushes which are made of natural animal hair. It also doesn't require expensive makeup cleaner to wash it, you can use mild or baby shampoo to clean it. One thing more its bristles did not shed or bleed at all after I washed it so it means that it is very durable!

                My only complaint about this product is that it is too big! It is not travel friendly so I cannot bring it all the time and use it for touch ups. :(

NYX Round Lipstick (Lip Smacking Fun Color)

       

        Everytime I read forums about girls latest beauty finds they rave about this NYX round lipstick which triggered my curiosity. I was wondering why these girls keep on talking about this lipstick like I was c'mon what's with it? Is it really that good that's why on every forum I read there's always these words as NYX RLS ? Well though I was really curious about this product and know about its existence for a very long time I did not shed bucks for it haha! But everything changed when I saw Digital Traincase's booth at Cosmetologie 2012, there are so many colors to choose from and it is also cheap so I was really attracted to give it a try.

          Honestly when I was trying this lipstick I feel like I want to buy them all! But since I'm not rich I just bought two haha it should be 4 but the other colors that I like was already out of stock.

          I love this lipstick 'cause it is creamy, has a rich color, has a decent staying power and of course it is extremely cheap it cost php150 only!  Now I feel guilty of not trying it after knowing it for a long time. Anyways I still feel glad that I discovered its Power now I can play colors with my lips without having to break the bank.

                Now I'm one of those girls who keep on saying  that this product is A MUST HAVE!

NYX matte lipstick in NUDE

           When I visited the NYX website I saw the picture of a model grasping a bow and arrow which covers her naked body while wearing this nude matte lipstick together with the eyeshadow from nude on nude natural look kit and I instantly fell in love with the products because I personally love nude or neutral makeups. So after seeing it I look for a NYX seller selling this lipstick on hand, I don't want to pre-order 'cause I can't wait to try this cute lipstick.

        When I saw the actual product I was a bit disappointed because the color is not really nude it is  pinkish as you can see from above picture which is different from what I saw on NYX website, anyways I still bought it and give it a try the next day. 

                 So here I am wearing the NYX nude matte lipstick. The pros of this product are first it glides smoothly on my lips second it smells good, third it is very pigmented and last it says that it is hypoallergenic while the cons are it is a bit drying so make sure to put lip balm before using it and also since it is drying it gives your lips a flaky look. :)))

NYX Nude on Nude Natural look kit

       Are  you wishing for an Urban Decay Naked palette but find it too pricey? well worry no more girls 'cause I got you a cheap dupe for it! So here's NYX Nude on Nude Natural look kit, it comes with nice 9 neutral colors, 2 lip glosses and applicators. 

The Palette itself weighs 9.40 grams and it has a size of 2.31" width x 2.31" height x0.81" diameter

I bought this one for Php. 650 at the booth of The Makeup Store in Greenhills.

        One thing that I really love with this palette is that the shades are non-chalky and very pigmented except for the matte ones. The lip colors are also great but it doesn't have a good staying power. But all in all this one is a good buy 'cause you can create multiple day to night looks with it, it is compact and lightweight so you can bring it anywhere and lastly it is 6x cheaper than UD Naked palette!

There's too much light that's why the eyeshadow is not that noticeable. Sorry!

Everybody wants to look good NAKED and now you were given the chance so hurry grab this product now!

FLUTTER False Eyelashes

       Do you have short eyelashes? Or you are experiencing difficulty on erasing your waterproof mascara? well same thing here! I also have short eyelashes and having difficulties erasing my waterproof mascara 'cause I always end up having raccoon eyes so I tried to avoid waterproof mascaras and opted to wear false eyelashes instead. In search for a good but cheap eyelashes I went to Cosmetologie 2012 in SMX convention center hoping that I would see one, luckily I saw the Beauty and Minerals booth displaying their mineral make-up, charm brushes and of course the false eyelashes that I've been looking for!          

10 pairs of False Eyelashes in Natural Flair.

       So this is the box of false eyelashes from Beauty and Minerals that I'm talking about. It comes with 10 pairs of falsies which costs 350 pesos only and different styles from natural looking to more dramatic ones. What I really love about this product aside from being cheap is that it looks natural and it is soft unlike the other cheap falsies that is in the market. BTW it is also reusable.

       If you find the the length to long you can trim it to your desired length or if you want a more dramatic look you can overlap two falsies just like what I did in the picture above. So if you can't take your short lashes or waterproof mascara anymore then hurry grab this one now! I assure you girls that it is worth buying!
